Exporting a Well View to PDF
You can export a Well View to PDF for further use, e.g., for use in reports or to print on paper, using the Export to PDF form. The Export to PDF form is opened using the Export to PDF button
in the toolbar of the active Well View. You can choose to export the Well View as you see it on your PC screen, or you can choose to export the complete Well View, with all the wells, logs, markers etc. that are selected for display in the JewelExplorer.
When you open the form, a folder location and file name are already filled in.
Folder The default folder location is the folder location where the solution is saved. In case you are working with a new solution that has not been saved yet, this location is C:\Users\<your username>\Documents.
, and on the dialog that opens, select a different folder. If you change the location of the folder, the form will remember the new location during your current session. After closing and reopening the solution, the folder location is reset to the folder location where the solution is saved.
File name The default file name is <name of the solution>-<name of the active Well View>.pdf. To change the file name, click in the entry field and replace the current name.
Area Select Screen to export the Well View as it is shown in the application. Select View to export the Well View with all the objects that have been selected for display in the JewelExplorer (but are not visible without scrolling the Well View).
Header (optional) Write your own text. You can enter a text string that is as long as you like. If the text is too long, it might be shown wrapped in the PDF output.

After filling in the required fields, click Apply to save the file in the folder location, open the file (with your default application to view PDF files) and keep the Export to PDF form open. Click OK to save the file in the folder location, open the file (with your default application to view PDF files) and close the Export to PDF form.
